One of our learners, George, has recently progressed onto a Maths course and an ICT course at On Course South West. George has been supported by Shekinah for the past 20 years and is now at a stage in his life where he feels confident to take the next step in his learning.
To support this transition, we accompanied him to OCSW’s new location at Cobourg House and introduced him to one of their friendly advisors. George is currently studying Level 1 Functional Skills Maths and is preparing for his first mock exam in November—he’s really pleased with how things are going.
Alongside his studies, George continues to have regular meetings with Path to support his housing needs, monthly check-ins with our training team, and knows he can access the Gadgets and Gizmos group every Wednesday afternoon for help with any technology.
