A special shoutout to the Pallet Bench Making group, whose 8 participants have become so enthusiastic about their work that they’ve chosen to continue the sessions indefinitely!
New Horizons for Over 50 We welcomed 10 visitors from the Job Centre as part of our new “New Horizons” programme, designed for people aged 50+. Alongside our Training Team, we showcased the personal development and wellbeing opportunities available at Shekinah. Each visitor had a chance to speak one-on-one with our team, allowing us to offer tailored advice and support.
Improving Our Space To enhance the experience of our sessions, we installed acoustic panels in the north wing of Shekinah. Feedback from students and drop-in users has been overwhelmingly positive, many have commented on how much more comfortable the sound is in the space.
October was a month of growth, creativity, and connection. Thank you to everyone who took part, supported, or helped make it happen. We’re excited to see what November brings!
