Easter Eggs – Dyeing and Printing

Course description: Coming close to Easter, Sarah will provide us with a seasonal treat to celebrate the arrival of spring. In her workshop she introduces learners to several egg decorating techniques. It is a delicate craft, in which the hollow egg serves as a blank canvas for your art.
First, you will blow out an egg, that you will design to your taste. Techniques include plain dying, natural dying and silk printing. The finished eggs will be threaded up to hang from a branch representing your Easter tree.
