“My name is Karl and l have been here at Shekinah for over 6 months working as a Personal development tutor.
Within this role, l get to help and support people that are experiencing challenges such as homelessness, addiction and those struggling with their mental health. This is done in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment.
l help guide and support our learners through a variety of teaching/ tutoring methods. These are done by enrolling our learners onto personal development and mentoring courses. Anything l can do to help, motivate and inspire anyone that comes through our door l do it.
My background is in Employability, Wellbeing and Mental health.
l have done various courses such as Mental health first aid and Mental health awareness so that l can provide the best support to anyone that needs it. l really believe in Shekinah`s values and what it stands for and l feel privileged to be part of an awesome organisation.
When l am not at work, l like to travel, go paddle boarding and mounting biking. A good book is also a must !
