We support people experiencing homelessness with practical help like meals, showers, and accommodation advice, alongside guidance on health, wellbeing, and employment.
Course description: Rag rugging is a traditional craft, which involves “hooking and progging” techniques, re-purposing old fabric scraps into functional home decor. You will have the chance to experiment with the two basic techniques, designing and making a unique rug wall hanging on your own.
In the third session you could carry on with your project or making rag wreaths and decorations using rag rug techniques.
All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring old t-shirts and woollens to turn into rags.
