A History of Witchcraft and Witchcraft Trials

Course description: This Halloween we will focus on a chilling part of our history – the witchcraft trials.

Sarah will give an overview of what is known about this period in time, when religion and gender were
central issues to brutal power plays.

We will discuss what it means to be demonised as a witch and how to be a self-proclaimed witch today.
