SUNRISE TO SUNSET WALK — Summer Solstice 2026 In aid of Trevi & Shekinah Hosted by be: unique wellbeing, led by Paul Shannon PT
We’ll be walking the coastline of Plymouth and the South Hams from around 04:00, covering roughly 75,000–80,000 steps in one day.
This challenge brings together a group of people who are passionate about pushing themselves, stepping out of their comfort zone, and supporting those in need. Every bit of support truly helps, and together we hope to make a real difference.
Thank you in advance for your donation. — Paul
The Route
Starting at the be: unique wellbeing gym in Cattedown, we’ll head:
• To the Barbican • Around the Hoe • To Devil’s Point & RWY • Back to the gym • Out to Saltram • Through Oreston, Radford Park, Hooe Lake, Turnchapel • Mount Batten Pier • Jennycliff • Coastal path to Bovisands and Wembury • Then back to the gym (skipping Saltram the second time!)
It’s a stunning route and a brilliant way to support your local community while challenging yourself.
Two Ways to Take Part
1. Full Challenge – 34 miles Start at 03:45–04:00am. Includes rest stops, refreshments, optional sea dips, and support throughout.
2. Halfway Option – Half Marathon Distance Join at the designated halfway point, or walk your own distance at any time during the day.
There’s something for everyone.
Why We Walk
Trevi supports women in recovery. Shekinah supports people experiencing homelessness. Both charities change lives in our community.
Participants will raise funds through their own JustGiving pages, helping us: • Raise vital funds • Raise awareness • Build a supportive, determined community • Grow this event year after year
More Than a Walk
This is about resilience, community, and doing something bigger than ourselves on the longest day of the year.
Whether you walk 34 miles, half the distance, or choose your own challenge – we’d love you to be part of it.
