Ostera – Spring Awakening

In preparation for the Spring Equinox on the 21st of March, we will focus on renewal and growth.

Easter traditions display many symbols and rituals of fertility. The goddess Ostera is one of many folklore deities. She marks the dawn and return of the light after the winter darkness.

Diving into the historical context, Sarah will take us back to a time when worshipping female deities was the norm until the gender balance completely flipped reaching the lowest point in European history with the Witchcraft Trials.
