Shekinah was delighted to attend a special WAKE Fund presentation hosted by Devonshire Freemasons at Buckfast Abbey on Friday 5th June.
The event brought together charities, schools, and voluntary organisations from across Devon, all of whom are working to support local people and strengthen communities. Representatives from 21 organisations were invited to receive funding and share more about their work.
We were proud to be among the organisations recognised, alongside a wide range of groups supporting armed forces personnel, young people, families, and individuals experiencing hardship.
The WAKE Fund, established through the generosity of William Alexander Kneel, provides vital grants to local charities and community groups, helping to deliver practical projects and services that make a real difference across Devon.
It was a valuable opportunity to connect with other organisations, share experiences, and build relationships with partners who share a commitment to supporting those most in need.
