December Highlights at the Learning Exchange

December was a vibrant month filled with creativity and community spirit! We hosted a variety of courses, including Gadgets and Gizmos, 3D Froebel Stars, Yule Wreath Making, Guitar Sing-Along, Festive Décor, and Spiced Biscuit Baking. Due to high demand, our volunteer tutor Sarah kindly added an extra wreath-making session.

We also:

  • Finalised and launched our Spring Term prospectus, now available online and in print.
  • Collected feedback and conducted case study interviews with students and tutors to reflect on experiences and improve future offerings.
  • Celebrated together at our End-of-Term Party on 12 December, attended by around 50 people. Highlights included homemade soup, spiced biscuits, Ukrainian ornaments, and even Christmas tunes on the accordion!

Looking ahead:

  • Enrolment Day: 7 January 2026
  • Spring Term starts: 12 January 2026

By the numbers:

  • 42 students attended December courses
  • ~50 people joined the End-of-Term Party

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this term so special. We can’t wait to see you in the New Year!
